No wonder that the work of the American quickly became interested in filmmakers. Already in 1977 he filmed the miniseries based on the "Transaction Rhinemanna". More than 10 years later, the first screen adaptation of "The Bourne Identity" - the most famous Ludlum novels in which the main role played by Richard Chamberlain. In 2002, re-film adaptation starring Matt Damon as Bourne made by Doug Liman, who in collaboration with Ludlum modernized the whole story so that it is more attractive for spectators.
